HALLOWEEN MAKEUP: BLACK AND ORANGE

Tuesday, October 13, 2015

I really wanted to pull together a Halloween inspired makeup tutorial. This is not something I would wear on a daily basis but why not wear it for Halloween? It's definitely a fun option! The black and orange colors give it the perfect Halloween feel:)

So wear this makeup look...IF YOU DARE!;p lol

Here's what you'll need to get this look:

EYES
-"Painterly" paintpot by MAC Cosmetics to prime the lids. A primer will help the eyeshadows adhere to the lid better, prevent creasing, and allow for a long lasting effect.

-"Spice" and "Fiesta" matte eyeshadow by Morphe as a transition shade. This will add a pop of color to the look. Be sure to apply this transition shade just a bit higher than the crease to blend with the shadows on the crease and the brow bone.

-"Noir" matte eyeshadow by Anastasia Beverly Hills over the lid area and to create an extended wing using eyeshadow.

-"Friskie" shimmer eyeshadow by ColourPop to create a shimmery look on the lid and prepare for glitter application. Apply this shade over the "Noir" shade.

-"Cream Puff" matte eyeshadow by Morphe on the brow bone area

-"Black" glitter by Wolfe Brothers to add over the lids

-"Blackest Black" gel eyeliner by Loreal to create the wing and line the waterline on the top and bottom areas of the eye

-"Noir Fairy" lashes by House of Lashes for a dramatic look

FACE
-"Chocolate Soleil" matte bronzer to contour my forehead, hollows of the cheeks, chin, and sides of the nose.

-"So Hollywood" illuminator over the cheeks, cupids bow,  and bridge of the nose for a highlight.

*I skipped blush on this look since the eyes are so dramatic

LIPS
-"Most Natural" Millani retractable lipliner, I love these retractable lipliners because you don't need to sharpen them!

-"Nude Delight" lipstick by Rimmel. This nude shade goes perfect with the eye makeup as it is a more peachy-nude.
