Happy Monday Beauties!

Today I'm doing my first Fashion Post. I'm excited to start sharing these kinds of posts with you guys. Let me know how you like them! Let's get started with the Outfit, Hair, and Makeup details:

-OUTFIT-
Dress: Express (old)
Shoes: Steve Madden (old)
Earings: ASOS here
Midi Rings: Forever 21 here

-HAIR-
-Hair Extensions: Bellami 260 g Lilly Hair (I purchased mine in Ash Brown and custom colored them Garnet Red)
-Curling Wand: Bellami 6-in-1 curling set. I used the "32 mm" barrel for loose curls

-MAKEUP-
Base: MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
Eyeshadows: Anastasia Beverly Hills (crease) "Bengal" and "Chocolate", (outer crease) "Noir", (brow bone) ABH "Banana" setting powder, and (lid) Urban Decay "HalfBaked"
Lashes: House of Lashes "Noir Fairy"
Mascara: Tarte "Lights, Camera, Lashes" black mascara.
Eyeliner: Lorac Front of the Line black liner
Concealer/Foundation: MAC Prolongwear concealer in NW 30, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Light, and Chanel Perfection Lumiere in Beige 40.
Blush/Bronzer/Highlight: Nars "Orgarsm" blush, Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer, and The Balm's "Mary Lou Manizer" highlighter
Lips: YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in the shade No. 1 Nude Beige

Apply a base to the entire lid and set it with ABH "Banana" shade. Add ABH "Bengal" and "Chocolate" to deep the crease. Use "Bengal" as a transition shade. To deepen the outer crease, apply a black matte shade like "Noir" from ABH. For the metallic look, apply a shimmery gold shade. I used Urban Decay's "HalfBaked" gold eyeshadow. Such a pretty shade!

This look was calling for a wing! So I created a winged-liner with the Lorac "Front of the Line" black liquid liner. Apply some lashes and mascara to blend them with your lashes. I used House of Lashes Noir Fairy and Tarte "Lights, Camera, Lashes" black mascara.

Even out the skin by adding foundation and concealer. I used the MAC Prolongwear concealer in NW 30 to hide my dark circles. Then, I applied my Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation to even out my skin and keep me more matte. For a brighter concealer I used the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer in the shade "Light". Set your makeup with ABH Banana powder and create a contouring effect with a shade a few shades darker than your skin tone. I used the Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer to sculpt out the cheeks and add warmth to my skin. Add a little bit of blush to the apples of your cheeks and highlight those cheek bones! My picks for this look were NARS "Orgasm" blush and The Balm's "Mary Lou Manizer" highlight. They are amazing and will make you look sun-kissed!

Use a nude or light shade to balance out the makeup. I am using the YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in the shade "No. 1 Nude Beige". This lipstick is amazing and smells so nice! It is very creamy. I would say the lasting power is average. Your lips will nice and smooth!

MAKEUP TUTORIAL: PURPLE

Monday, July 20, 2015

Purple is one of my favorite shades to wear when it comes to makeup. If you have green eyes, then this shade will make your eyes pop!

PRODUCTS USED:
Base: MAC Prolongwear Concealer in NW30
Eyeshadows: Anastasia Beverly Hills "Iridescent Purple", "Plum", ABH "Banana" setting powder for browbone, and ColourPop "Tassel" for the center.
Eyeliner: NYX Matte black liquid liner
Lashes: House of Lashes "Iconic"
Mascara: Tarte "Lights, Camera, Lashes" black mascara
Lips: MAC Lipliner "Natural", and Gerard Cosmetics "Buttercup"
*ABH: Anastasia Beverly Hills

Of course we need to start off with a good base! I am using MAC's Prolongwear concealer. This is a very high coverage concealer and does not feel heavy at all. I absolutely love it! This is the only thing I use for dark circles... but we are using it as a base for today:)

Set the eye area with ABH banana shade to prep for eyeshadow application.

Crease: Apply ABH "Iridescent Purple" and blend-blend-blend to create a smooth transition. Darken the crease with ABH "Plum".
Lid: For that nice shimmery look add a white shimmery shadow. I am using ColourPop's "Tassel".
Brow-Bone: Since there's lots of shimmer on the look, I am staying a matte shadow. Apply the ABH Banana shade on the brow bone.

Liner: Create a winged liner with a matte liquid liner. I am using NYX's matte liquid liner in the shade black.
Lashes: You know them lashes will make them eyes pop! So I'm using one of my favorite lashes, "Iconic" by House of Lashes. Blend the falsies with your lashes by applying mascara. I am using the Tarte "Lights, Camera, Lashes" mascara in black. This will be applied to bottom lashes as well.

Lips: For the lippies I wanted to go a little softer. I used the lipliner from MAC in the shade "Natural" to make my lips larger, and then added Gerard's Cosmetics "Buttercup" lipstick...such a lovely nude shade!

This gorgeous purple look is now complete!

MAKEUP BY ME

Tuesday, July 14, 2015

I was so excited to finally do this gorgeous girl's makeup! My beautiful sister from www.callherkat.blogspot.com. I love her honey brown eyes. The gold and brown shades compliment her so well!

PRODUCTS USED
Base: Mac Paint Pot in "Painterly"
Shadows: Anastasia Beverly Hills "Fresh", "Bengal", "Chocolate", and ColourPop "Amaze"
Liners: Lorac Front of the Line liner in Black and L'oreal Gel Liner in "Blackest Black"
Lashes: Vegas Nay in "Grand Glamour"
Mascara: Tarte "Lights, Camera, Lashes" black mascara
Foundation: Chanel Perfection Lumiere
Concealer: Maybelline Age Rewind in "Light"
Bronzer/Blush: MAC "Give Me Sun", Milani "Luminoso"
Lips: Beauty For Real "Perfect Lip Pencil" and MAC "Viva Glam II"

Start by applying a base to the entire eyelid. I used MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly. This will help the eyeshadows adhere and last longer. A base will also prevent creasing of the shadows on the lids.

Set the base with a light shadow. I am using "Fresh" from ABH and will add this shade to the brow bone as well. Slowly darken the crease area with a matte brown shadow. I am starting with Bengal from ABH, and darkening the color slowly with "Chocolate" also from ABH.

For the shimmering effect, choose a metallic gold shadow. I am using ColourPop eyeshadow in "Amaze". Their shadows are perfection! They are so pigmented and only cost about $5.00! To intensify the color you can dampen your brush a bit. Blend the crease one more time to complete the look!

Time for liner and lashes! This will perfect the look! Apply a gel liner and blend it to give it a smokey look. I am creating a wing by extending the line outwards and then smoking out the liner while it's still a bit wet.

Add your favorite lashes! I used the Vegas Nay lashes in "Grand Glamour". I know I've been using these lashes a lot in my tutorials! That's because they last so long and you can re-wear them multiple times!

Almost done with the makeup! Now it's time for the face makeup. I am using the Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation (I will be doing a review on this foundation soon). Make sure you even out the skin for a flawless look! Set the foundation with a powder and apply bronzer and blush. I am using "Give Me Sun" by MAC and "Luminoso" blush by Milani. The bronzer it's not too dark but not too light on the model's skin. It gives her a nice warm complexion. And the blush...I could talk about this blush all day long! This has easily become my favorite blush. The shade looks so nice and glowy. You can add a lot of this peachy shade without it looking like you went overboard. If you haven't tried this blush I highly recommend it! I purchased mine at CVS.

For the lips I am going very natural. I shaped the lips with Beauty For Real's "Perfect Lip Pencil" (received in my Boxy Charm:D), and topped it off with Viva Glam II lipstick by MAC.

TA DA! You're all done:)

QUICK BEAUTY TIP: SUNGLASSES

Monday, July 6, 2015

Happy Monday Beauties!

It's been oh so hot lately and the sun is so bright that I constantly find myself squinting! Although a good skincare regimen will help with anti-aging, squinting can speed up the aging process around the eyes. This is why I always make sure to bring my SUNGLASSES with me at all times. A good pair of sunglasses will not only protect the eyes from the sun, but they will help prevent you from squinting and enforcing lines around the eyes.

Make sure you have some nice shades with you this summer! :D
