GLAM BRIDE

Thursday, April 27, 2017

I was so honored to do this beautiful doll's makeup. She was so excited on her special day and I had a blast getting to know her more, laughing, and having a good time. She wanted this beautiful gold-glitter eye makeup with a bold deep-red lip, which was so fun to create. Here are the details:

EYES
When doing a glam look like this I like to start with the eyes because there's a high chance there will be lots of fall out. So to avoid any mess, I do the eyes first and foundation last.

-EYESHADOW: Morphe 35O palette and Lorac Pro palette.
-SHIMMER: Sigma Midsummer pigment. Wet the brush with MAC Fix+ to intensify the shade.

-GLITTER: NIA Cosmetics in "Gallerina". One of my favorite shades of glitter!
-EYELINER: INGLOT Gel eyeliner in #77. This gel eyeliner does not move once you use it. It's long lasting for the entire day.

LASHES
-Christina Wispies- 2 pairs stacked
-Duo Dark-Toned glue

BROWS
-POMADE: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in "Medium Brown". This shade is beautiful because it's very ashy and doesn't give off an orange/red brow.
-POWDER: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo in Brunette. This product is beautiful to fill in any gaps that we missed with the pomade.
-SETTING GEL: Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel

FACE
-FOUNDATION: Graftobian HD Creme foundation. One of my favorite foundations for clients. This foundation is silicone-based so it will give you a flawless appearance and will last all day long.
-CONCEALER: NARS Soft Matte concealer in "Macadamia" and L.A. Girl HD concealer
-SETTING POWDER: Laura Mercier Translucent powder
-CONTOUR: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and Dark Chocolate Soleil. I have the Little Black Book of Bronzers which has all of the Chocolate Soleil shades. It's perfect because you have all the shades in one palette and don't need to be searching for separate containers.
-BLUSH: Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in "Exposed"
-SETTING SPRAY: MAC Fix+ Apply the setting spray before the highlight so that the highlight will be more intense and pigmented.
-HIGHLIGHT: Becca "Opal"

LIPS
-Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in "Heathers"

BRIDE TO BE

Monday, April 24, 2017

Haaaaaaaaapiest Monday Beauties! I want to start off the week with this beautiful makeup I did on my gorgeous bride. I loved driving up to the Little America in SLC to help this beauty feel spectacular on her special day. She wanted a fun glitter eyeshadow look with pink tones. Here are all the deets:

EYES
-PRIMER: Too Faced Shadow Insurance
-EYESHADOW: Morphe 35O palette. I absolutely love Morphe palettes. They are an affordable way to try out a bunch of different shades and the shadows are very pigmented. Definitely worth every affordable penny.
-INNER CORNER HIGHLIGHT:  Kitten by Stila Cosmetics
-GLITTER: Gallerina by NIA Cosmetics. This is a beautiful pink toned glitter.
-EYELINER: Inglot #77 gel eyeliner and NYC liquid liner on top to darken the black. When you have glitter it can be a little tough to work with the liner, so a good liquid liner will really help to darken all that glitta!

BROWS
-NYX Micro Brow Pencil in "Ash Brown"

LASHES
-House of Lashes in "Smokey Muse", one of my favorite lashes for clients! They give you beautiful volume but not too much, just the perfect amount. I applied them with the House of Lashes black lash glue. This eyelash glue holds up so good you could stick your head out the window while in the freeway and those lashes will not move! (Really, they wont!)

FACE
-PRIMER: Smashbox Oil-Free Photo Finish primer
-FOUNDATION: Graftobian Glamour HD Foundation all over the skin and as a concealer.
-POWDER: Laura Mercier Translucent powder to set under the eyes and bake.
-BRONZER: Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
-BLUSH: Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in "Exposed"
-HIGHLIGHT: Becca Opal Highlight. This is such a beautiful highlight that works well with so many skin tones. There's no glitter on it, just pure perfection!
-SETTING SPRAY: MAC Fix+ (My fav!)

LIPS
-LIP LINER: Lip liner by Milani in "All Natural:"
-LIPSTICK: YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in "Nude Beige". These lipsticks are definitely client's favorite for their soft formula.

*I always pack a little touch up kit for my clients so that they can re-apply as the day goes by, specially lipstick.

I'M BACK!

Saturday, April 8, 2017

Helloooo Beauties! I'm back! I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. The break I took was definitely longer but I'm back and ready to post a lot of fun new looks for you. I even had to update my age on my About Me tab since I turned a year "bolder" last month:D heehee I also have lots of client looks that I will be posting in the upcoming posts. For today's look I wanted to do something bold and glam. Here are the details for this blue enchanting makeup look:

-EYES-
PRIMER- Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye primer. Apply this all over the lids for a nice base, ready for eyeshadow application. This will help to even out the skin tone on the eyelids and help the eyeshadow adhere and last longer.

EYESHADOWS- Morphe 35O palette. I created a mixture of lighter orange-toned, matte, eyeshadows for the transition shade and warmed up the outer corners with the darker brown shades.

GLITTER- The funnest part of the look is the glitter! Here I'm using one of my favorite glitter palettes by Urban Decay- Moondust Palette. Apply a little but of the Too Faced glitter glue and the shade "Galaxy".

-LASHES-
DODO Lashes in "D305"-
Lashes on this look are very full and fluffy, with tons of volume. I chose a 3D pair from Dodo Lashes in the style "D305" with some dark-toned DUO glue. A little tip: waiting for the lash glue to get tacky will help adhere them a lot better! You can also use my code "littlemissnati" for some $ off the Dodo Lashes. This is an affiliate code, so I will earn commissions if you decide to use it. Thank you in advance if you decide to do so.

-BROWS-
Benefit KaBrow #4 and Precisely My Brow #6.

-FACE-
PRIMER- Tarte Clean Slate. Ad a small amount on the areas where you have larger pores or get oily.

FOUNDATION- One of my favorite combinations right now is mixing the Loreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation with the Makeup Forever HD foundation stick.

CONCEALER- NARS Soft Matte concealer in "Macadamia". I don't use this to highlight, just to conceal my dark circles.

HIGHLIGHTING CONCEALER- L.A. Girl Pro Conceal concealer. Now that the dark circles are covered, apply a highlighter under the eyes, bridge of the nose, center of forehead, chin, cupids bow, and under the hollows the cheeks. Smooth everything out with a damp beauty blender.

UNDER EYE POWDER- Set under the eyes with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and leave it there for baking.

SKIN SETTING POWDER AND CONTOUR- I've been using the Wet and Wild Contouring Palette to set the skin and contour.

BLUSH- Tarte Amazonian Clay in "Exposed"... my favorite!

SET- Set the makeup with Mac Fix+ spray before applying the highlight.

POWDER HIGHLIGHT- Carli Bybel Palette, the two middle highlighting shades are heaven! They will give you that "Highlight on fleek 100" type of look.

-LIPS-
Lip Land "Stoned" (discount code is "NATI") Creme Gloss with Mac "Whirl" lip liner.
